To offer alternative, cost-effective mixtures or designs where appropriate:
Customers often ask for help or ideas to come up with the optimum solution for their scheme. Sitebatch has done this on many occasions, providing savings to customers and sometimes preserving natural resources by sourcing alternative aggregates
To offer technical support to customers:
Occasionally a customer may not be experienced in site manufacture of our products or they may have a problem at the laying end. Within the company, there is extensive knowledge on materials, specifications, plant and laying techniques. We are happy to provide customers with advice and suggestions.
 
To meet our customer’s programme:
Our fleet of mixing plants has mixing capacity up to 800 tonnes / hour. We are always ready to help you determine which plant would best suit your needs.
 
To meet our customer’s quality needs:

During 2003 our BSI registered ISO 9001 quality system completed the transition to the year 2000 version. The good news for our clients is that this scheme is all about ‘customer satisfaction’.

 
We have to demonstrate that we have met your requirements. We do this by providing detailed records to you of our work for you and very importantly, by asking you to complete a survey form on contract completion. You have the opportunity to rate us against the commitments we make to you!

We like to know how well our customers think we have fulfilled our commitments. We use the results to help our programme of continual improvement.
 
To work professionally and safely:
We believe this makes good business sense. We go the extra mile to work professionally and safely in order to exceed customer expectations, so that we are paid for our work and are profitable. In addition, our employees stay motivated and the cycle continues.
 
To provide detailed records of work done:

Each day you will receive a full breakdown of our activities. In addition to showing you how we manage your materials, you may also find these useful in a wider analysis of site operations - e.g. haulage and paving.

 
To train staff and operatives always seeking to improve company services:
Our employees are in contact with customers every day. To best represent Sitebatch, they have to be trained. We invest time and money to ensure each employee reaches a set standard before being given the responsibility for operating our plants.

That’s just the start. At regular intervals, their performance is assessed and training needs identified so that we can promote their development.

We also provide Health Surveillance and a Health Care Scheme for all employees. Apart from care for employee’s welfare, this too makes good business sense. If our employees are healthy, they will be at work!
 
The company achieved the ‘Investors in People’ standard in September 2004.
